Patient Technology and Comfort
Dental appointments can create anxiety, so we work hard to alleviate your stress. A selection of beverages, TV, music, headphones, blankets, and neck pillows provide distraction and comfort during treatment. For nervous patients, we offer conscious sedation, but because we can place several restorations in one appointment, patients often don’t need sedation.
Our state-of-the-art technology also helps keep patients calm. Dental lasers assist in a variety of procedures; usually, patients experience less pain, less noise, and less overall unpleasantness than with lasers than with traditional drills. The Waterlase system can perform cavity preparation, tooth etching, and a wide range of soft tissue (gum) procedures. OpusDent Duo EC, a hard and soft tissue laser, can achieve caries removal, cavity preparation, enamel etching, and soft tissue procedures like incision, removal, and clotting work. Our hygienists are certified to use diode lasers for periodontal therapy. We also employ DIAGNOdent as a fast, effective means of decay detection.
